Bill Pay From Your Bank
With this option, you go through your bank to have a check drawn from your account and automatically mailed to the church. Most financial institutions offer this service for free. The church will incur no additional fees if you choose this option. It’s just like you writing a check.

Appreciated Stock and Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
Do you have appreciated stock that you have held for more than a year, or are you required to take the minimum distribution from your retirement plan? If so, consider donating items directly to Smithwood. There is a tax benefit donating these directly to the church. Speak with your financial advisor about the tax benefits and speak to our financial administrator about how this can be done.
